Characteristics of the company

Company AC s.r.o. was established in 1991, as a trading company. Its activities were trading new and used motor vehicles and building activities.

In 1998 its existing activities expanded to cereals production and domestic and international transportation.

The company built a production unit and bought modern technology from the German company SCHAAF. In 2003 it built storage facilities for the distribution of raw materials, packaging and final products.

The company is still active in all these activities and it became one of the biggest producers of cereals in Slovakia.

Its subscribed capital is 7.2 mil Sk.

q       Production programme

The current range of products carries breakfast cereals and wheat products with fillings, which are introduced on the market under the mark "BER TO!" and "SNELLA slim figure".

q       Capacity of production

Daily production is between 3.2 t up to 5.0 t which depends on the type of product produced and the shift working. The technology can carry out 3-shift continuous production.

q       Technology

Production is carried out by German SCHAAF technology, which was bought and installed in 1998. The parameters of the entire technology are compatible with supplementary machineries and equipment (wrapping machine etc.).

The technology is placed in a newly built production unit, designed to meet the needs of the cereals production.

Our cereal products are covering the market of all big trading chains (TESCO, KAUFLAND, CARREFOURE etc.) and a majority of smaller trading companies. Total market share of the AC’s products on the Slovak market with comparison to these commodities is ca. 25%.

q                   Position on foreign market

Czech Republic:           1. Company ATOS Bohemia - most of the product range, with the representation at the trading chains AHOLD, CARREFOURE and an independent trading chain.

2. Company DAVO Family Zlín – products under the own mark of the customer.

Hungary:                             1. Company SALGÓCENTRE Kft – products for the chain COOP HUNGÁRIA

           2. ALIMENTI Kft Budapest – independent trading chain

Production capacity possibilities and the quality of the products give an opportunity to produce for demanding markets of the EU.

The company would welcome being joined by a foreign partner with the aim of expanding the market and making the production more efficient and especially increasing sales.
